Marco Bracci
Marco Bracci is a doctor of research and sociologist of communication and cultural processes. Piombinese by birth and Florentine by adoption, from 2007 to 2012 he was a research fellow at the University of Florence where he continues to collaborate, teaching and doing research. He deals with communication, identity, memory and media narratives. Among his recent publications, Radici di ferro e futuro d’acciaio. Uno sguardo comunicativo sull’identità di Piombino (2012), the result of decades of research. The interest in popular music, rock and musical consumption was translated into the publication Da Modugno a X Factor. Musica e società italiana dal dopoguerra a oggi (2010), of which he is co-author with Edoardo Tabasso.
