Giovanna Tonelli was born in Villadossola.
He holds a degree in modern literature from the University of Milan and a Phd in economic and social history from Bocconi.
She is currently a researcher in modern history at the Milan State Highway.
In 1994 he published his first storybook Cocky e il fiocco di neve bianc, in 2011 Un arcobaleno di note published by Aereostella.
